A ceremony was held, July 22, at Tehran’s Masjid Nur (Nur Mosque) to commemorate the late Lebanese renowned Islamic Alim Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah.

The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has issued a message on the occasion of the seventh day of the Martyrdom of 27 people during a terrorist attack outside the Zahedan Grand Mosque in the Iranian Sistan-Baluchestan Province on July 15 saying the intelligence services of the US, the Zionist regime and Britain were the main supporters of the attack.

Proximity among different Islamic schools of thought is an idea based on the principles of brotherhood and unity in the Islamic Ummah.

Iran and Saudi Arabia are two influential countries in the Islamic world whose growing ties would strengthen unity among Muslims, Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani has said.

The World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought has denounced the recent  terrorist attacks in Zahedan city south eastern Iran, saying that it was a plot hatched by the enemies of Islam and unity among Muslims.

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has stressed the importance of maintaining unity for Shia and Sunnis in Iran.

A senior Iranian Sunni scholar condemned the Thursday terrorist attacks in the southeastern city of Zahedan in Sistan and Balouchestan province, stressing that the terrorists aimed to sow discord among Shiite-Sunni Muslims.

The bodies of 27 people martyred  in a terrorist attack in Iran's southeastern Sistan-Baluchestan Province have been laid to rest amid public mourning.

Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution met with the participants and judges of the 27th International Quran Competitions which were held today in Imam Khomeini Hussayniyyah on the occasion of Imam Hussein's (AS) birthday anniversary.

Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei underlined the growing trend of Islamic awakening in the world, and stressed that unity plays a key role in Muslims' prosperity. "Today, Muslims' prosperity lies in unity on the axis of Islam," Ayatollah Khamenei said.
